Pricky Scotty got the desired result deflecting his sides loss last night with his pisssing and moaning over the ground the wanker.
Ground must have been in terrible nick when Smelbourne n the Woofers played on it, their coaches must be outraged over the surface. Deteriorated terribly after our first game n an almost unplayable surface according to Salty's bitchin n moanin. Reckon Essendrugs n Hawforn might have to abandon today's game the surface will be in no condition to play footy on.

Had brief looks at a few games , looks like a lot of good footy played early in the season and it’ll be some time before the “favourites “ for the flag will be settled

Funny how the North scribes are blowing the trumpet on their performance.
For god's sake they beat poor old Wet Coke by a miserly 5 points, and they are almost flag favourites

Haven't watched that much footy over the weekend, but clear that MCG is affecting the skills of all teams and is difficult to accelerate on. Pretty hopeless by the MCC

Total money grubbing stupidity to host concerts etc on the turf of any sporting stadium anywhere near the start of the season. Took a week n a half to remove n replace the pretty green carpet so there's no way it had any time to settle down n start to bind in.

Having said that though. Eight teams are playing on the ground this weekend and the conditions will be exactly the same for the two competing teams during each game.
Ya run what ya brung on the surface provided same as everyone else. Nothing more than the Salty one being a petulant pedant simply because he's the best in the business n it obscures his teams failings on the night and allows him to avoid due recognition of the oppositions performance.

One team kicked 19 goals on it and another 17. Ground condition wasn't an issue for them.

That Adelaide jumper in the white shorts is putrid.

Hold on a sec. It's the AFL that have the money grubbing stupidity.

They are the ones that brought in "Gather Round," which is nothing more than a money grab. And means the season starts a week earlier.

I am pretty certain the Ed Sheeran concert was announced over 12 months ago.

The surface was shifting that much it launched Pickett into orbit and he collected Smiffy on the way through by accident.

What a travesty the afl has orchestrated with this club. You’d get a bigger crowd in Strahan. Great western Tasmania please you muppets
