The one time he did call for it it was comical. Ball came across to the Shane Warne stand wing. Pickett going to take an easy mark, he drops his hands and Mansell doesn't take the mark. The only way Pickett doesn't take that mark is because Mansell must have called for it.
I was on the other flank, just inside 50 (M55), he was in space and could have demanded the footy.

Yeah not sure why he pushed in so close. Pickett was comfortably taking the mark, he could have spread and kept our width.

Not sure if its an indication of his overall footy IQ or not. Haven't seen enough of Mansell to know if he's good with Footy IQ or not.

I do like his approach, he has a bit of mongrel, and reasonable skills, but just not sure that's enough, not sure about his footy nous.

Comedy of errors that one, reckon Nigel propped coz he didn't want to plough into Foosh n Foosh just lost position under the high ball swirling around.

Pickett didn't lose it. He deliberately dropped his arms. The only way he would do that is if the player behind (Mansell) had called for it.

Either one of us could be right, only Foosh would know for certain.
Wouldn't be any point to keeping your arms stuck up in the air if you realise at the last second you've missed the flight of the ball by a metre or two. Perhaps if Nigel had already called for it then Foosh should have stayed out of the way n let Nigel go full throttle at it, Nigel had to pull up to avoid nailing Foosh flat out n maybe hurting himself or maybe even both.

we are all too critical. For me, the first quarter up to 15 mins was ours, if we kicked straight, this game was ours, 3 points, 2 out of the full. We have certainly fixed the clearance issues, 2 areas to vastly improve (better delivery into the forward line and kicking straight (we want 85% strike rate for both).

We have a poor record against them at Adelaide Oval. Need to win.

Reckon they are ripe for an absolute flogging to be honest.
Nick's will be under the microscope should we touch them up.
They are brittle on every line.

I'm looking forward to O'Brien playing his annual blinder (or some other no-name)
And O’Brien was absolutely shizen today. Next week guaranteed BOG, then back to spud following week.

We can change who we want but if we can't consistently kick goals when we have the chance then changes for changes sake will not help us win

Just to put everyone’s mind at ease, last years corresponding game against the Crows was a 33-13 free kick count in their favour
