I wish he would go with the first option more often. Seems to get caught when trying to much

Yeah he fumbled a bit. Wrong options. Caught a couple of times.

Remember when he couldn't kick over a jam jar? His 50m set shot just got there last night, but that's 15m further than he would have got it two years ago.
Amazing what three years as a full time, professional athlete can do for you. Still not even 21 yet and won’t be until September.

Seemed to have either lost a yard of acceleration, or the opposition make that extra effort to catch. Dunno, but he seemed to get caught more
He got caught a fair bit last year as well. He's got a lot of improving to do, but also has a lot of time to do it.

The two goals he kicked are ones he probably doesn't kick last season. Maturing very nicely.

Cobwebs blown. 2 crucial snags. Including a kick that travelled 55. In for a big year is Lil Moz.

There were times last year when we could have been forgiven for thinking that MoJu's pressure was all that was keeping us in games.

We're a bit better set up at the fall this year but in R1 MoJu was crucial in our ten minutes of Premiership football. You saw it, didn't you? The heat. The surge. And the dominance.

Suppose we didn't have MoJu to do that. It would hurt a lot.

A good coach would see that weakness. He would start work on someone like Mansell in the role. If push comes to shove he might use a more talented prospect for pressure. But he would start work straight away.

For now MoJu is what we got. (Apologies to Tom J. Lynch.) Gawd give Mansell strength.

Like that MJ is taking the game on when he gets the pill, does look like his benefited from another pre season as he looks quicker longer, however his field kicking continues to be an issue imho

More his positioning. Just seems to run around in circles.

Have to watch him live, his defensive work is as good as anything we did out there today.

I'd love to see his repeat sprint numbers on his GPS, must be an incredible figure.

Forget anything he does with the ball, with him on the ground we have 19 players defending.

Repeat efforts. Wow. (Paul Kelly stuff. Three in three seconds.)

Head over the ball. Wow.

Stood under the high ball and threw everything at it. Wow.

Came of age tonight. Stamina not there yet but was a force. Unbelievable game.

To me it's as simple as he doesn't play today and we lose. Wouldn't worry me if he took a banana lounge and a cocktail out and had a lie down while we have the ball, if he applied that pressure when we don't.

I just hope Riewoldt's selfish act that got him crunched didn't cause any lasting issues.

29 total sprints which was second most of the ground. Maxed out at 32.8km/h which was third highest on the ground. Also had 19 pressure acts. Agree on having 19 players when he’s out there.

Still not even 21.

Needs help, we need an injection of young fast kids who are prepared to run, chase and tackle.
