His last 2 games in the AFL he kicked ZERO goals. So, personally I don't think it is simple.
But I hope he plays this week, I hope he kicks goals and most of all I hope we win.
I think it's all mental with Cumberland and that's what Dimma didn't like. You can go into your shell when things don't go your way on the field.

Reminds me of Pettifer in so many aspects… it’s a bit spooky
They both are very visibly hard on themselves on the field.

Kayne had skill but wasnt as dynamic or as much of a loose cannon as Cumbo.

Cumbo doesnt even know what Cumbos gonna do let alone anyone else.

Kayne was more predictable but had the capacity to kick the odd spectacular goal or take the odd spectacular grab.

Noah has the unpredictability we need in the forwards yet is another one of our list who has the talent to succeed subject to fixing confidence issues . That is Emma Murry's job if she is still with us

Hope he plays every game for the remainder of the season.
I'd rather he be taught/learned about his game in the seniors than in the vfl.
Just let him do his thing and we'll have to take the bad with the good over the short-term journey.

Agree. Need to invest in the younger players we think can evolve. 13 games left to see what we have.

I wonder if he's been on the end of some of Dimma's bigger frustrations.
That presser earlier in the season when he was more critical of an individual player than usual may have been an indication of where Dimma's headspace was with hindsight.

Cumbo reminds me of Nick Daffy
Dont know about this one. Daffy was a natural ball magnet, albeit that he would chase a lot of junk ball when he was being played in the middle. Not sure Cumbo has the same instinct to consistently find the footy.

I noticed this too - I didn't think Dimma looked great with his public critique of Noah and it said to me something was amiss with Dimma.

Looking back it might have been the start.

Frustration at some of those loses too.

What was that stat. 14 games played last two years where we lost 12 games under a few goals and 2 draws.

It was brewing .

Hindsight is a wonderful thing.
