No Cumberland.

Added to the squad:

Miller, Banks, Young.

So no Sonsie who had 28 touches last week, and no Cumbers who kicked 4.

Hmmm.

And it looks like (at least according to the lineups) that Pickett is staying forward.

And Dow not dropped at first opportunity.

If I'm honest I haven't enjoyed watching us these last few years. This week it's changed. I'm hanging out to analyse the play and see what if anything has changed. The idea of a new coach and potentially refresh (no rebuild) has me up and about. Maybe it is what the players need too.

Note: I reserve the right to throw my toys out of the pram and join the ticket to bring dimma back at some stage during the next few months.

GTFO how about rewarding the player who was BOG and had a cracker of a game.

Anyone else that would've had these stats would be in without a shadow of a doubt. I remember when he kicked 3 v the Dees but after that was quiet, some were saying ohh where was he after the first qtr lmao. Well, Mansell kicked two in the first and didn't do much else after that apart from missing an absolute soda which would've sowed up the game and then got outsmarted so easily by Heppel which in that play won the game.

Noah Cumberland (17 disposals, eight marks, five inside-50s, four goals)
"Noah won the Sir Doug Nicholls Award for best on ground on the weekend. His defensive acts were particularly pleasing and I thought he started the game really well with a great aerial contest and contested mark inside 50. But, it was his ability to lean into his team and provide energy right throughout the day."

I'm happy Dow's getting another game. He's looking unlikely to make it and wasn't great last week, but he should get a block of games for us to find out for sure.

Bit surprised Cumberland hasn't got a game though.

Selection not a great start if you want change.
Personally think Macintosh should have been dropped, and Ralphsmith as well. Short back to backline, we overflowing with onballers wtf is he still doing in the middle
Sonsie and Cumbo in, Pickett back to wing, Ross into guts, Tylar Young can wait he had a good look and still learning the game.
Happy enough with Banks for K Mac wing. Ross into Middle

No Cumbo, No Sonz, Dow still in......but WTF do I know what goes on at the club. Most wanted Miller out and yet performed well the week after.

I'm more interested in seeing how Mini and the players get on.

the knock on cumberland is defensive effort

And you dont become defensive in a week.

He gets BOG and defensive efforts praised for a month in The 2nds

And you get promoted.

Thats good, long-term, footy development.

Ditto Sonz

I dont get the angst

Don't kid yourself our reserves were very very poor being 5 goals down halfway through the last quarter, Essendon swithched off and a few players pulled their finger out (Sonsie, Banks and Miller). Cumbo was Cumbo about 15 minutes of terrific the rest headless effort. If anyone deserved a game in the AFL on that game it was Olden. Please watch a replay.

They’re uninspiring changes, but I really didn’t expect much else. Someone needs to rattle the cage and force some excitement into things.

Wish others were expected to reach those high standards that are being applied to Cumbo

If the coaches and club think we can play finals there kidding themselves this year is all about development and who stays and goes.

Lol what the heck are you talking about, Are you saying Steve Morris has no idea? because he praised him like no tomorrow, and Cumbo was voted best on the ground. His numbers don't lie, and he also laid 5 tackles. So what if they were down they still won the tigers. Are you suggesting teams who are losing then win don't have players who actually played well?

Watch a replay, :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: i was there. And watched the seniors too. Long day!

Our 3 best were Cumbo, the Sonz, and Banksie. Miller and Young did ok.

Ben Miller (13 disposals, 14 hit-outs, four clearances, one goal)

Tylar Young (10 disposals, three rebound-50s, three marks)

There are players in our team who hardly chase and who hardly put on pressure but still get a game. Can't have one rule for one and one rule for others.
Don't get the angst are you serious? The rules don't apply to every player. You still got to have class in the team, cumbo in before Mansell every day including weekends.
