I've seen snippets of both Collingwood games, and it may because it's early in the year, but Pendlebury looks like it's catching up with him.
Made a couple of really glaring skill errors last night.
He’s had a bit of the Benjamin buttons about him. I guess it stands out when we see our champs fade.

Both Geelong and Collingwood have squeaked one out before their aging stars fell off a cliff.

It’s why I didn’t mind our hopper / Tarranto strategy. We just couldn’t do it without lynch though.

Yes and no. Where are the key backs and forwards? I personally thought they drafted wrong last year, they didn't really need to add Duursma to that group IMO, they are more than covered in midfield. I think I said at the time, I'd have been looking to trade what was Pick 4 back to 2 around the 7-10 range (even if they had to throw in a later pick), as for me getting Curtin and Caddy instead of Duursma would have been much better for their list build than Duursma is.

What game has the umpiring been acceptable??
First quarter versus Blues when we got looked after and Tom got handed 2 BS goals until they realised at quarter time that cheap free kicks were being awarded to the key forwards of the wrong team. Normal service recommenced thereafter. :))

Dursmma has kicked 2 goals against apprantly the best back 6 in the last 45 yrs..

**that's what the media reckon.
No one will score against that back 6

Not saying that Duursma won't be good btw, just that I don't think thats what they needed.

The 2024 draft is also expected to be heavy in mids again so likely they take another mid this year, and they need to add Simpkin into this team and don't even have Philips (a former pick 3) in the chosen 25 for today (which is why I think we should be asking the question).

Just catching the start of the Gee/ St kilda game. Did I hear correct that 142million was just spent to upgrade the joint and capacity went from nominal 36k to nominal 40k? Shades of a Utopia episode.

I never thought I'd say that the worst commentary team that doesn't include BT, but geez Selwood, Watson and Philips can barely string a sentence together between them
