Welcome to Tigerland - Tim Taranto

Glad we don’t sign him on some ridiculous long contract

He is depressed. Was sold a lie by Hardwick and Co to come to a Powerhouse club. Realise he made the wrong decision. Written all over his body language

To me it looks like he is playing through some sort of injury, but also that’s pretty common amongst players.

Certainly gone down hill from 2023.

The game is really shifting away from players like Taranto. Not denying his talent - at his best he is a damn good inside player. But his lack of leg speed and breakaway power is a killer. Can’t go with the next gen star mids.

Is he being tagged by oppo as they know he's our only really damaging mid or has his work rate simply dropped?
Stats down across the board from last season. Defensively too. Concerning.

I like Taranto, but some of his ball use has gone downhill so fast, but the most disappointing thing for me is his tackling, he was always a tackling machine (at the Giants too) but I thought Port just walked through his tackles today. Not good enough. I can deal with being out of form with the ball, but back it up with your effort and your defensive work.

I wonder if he is fully fit? His running power seems way off last year. Ball use too.

He is devastated.
He was a respected footballer at GWS but as soon as he chose us he is a dud who can't kick.
That shitt would wear you down.
He came because he was painted a picture but the bloke that painted the picture has done the a bolt.
He looks like he can't be fked. Half hearted attempts to tackle even worse attempt to chase or even to cover for others.

A shadow of last seasons form but to be fair, he has a heavy load in the mids trying to single handedly make it work. He needs support to allow him time to create but at the moment it is all rushed
