Game Day - Tiges V Freo

Not one Richmond player is winning. I think the horror that this season has turned into has broken the playing group.
Sitting up the forward line end , of all the players I would least blame them. Gary Ablett Snr would not have gine near it in our fwd line the way it was coming in, when it actually did come in.
The use if the ball and vision if half back and through the middle was horrific

A 50 for delaying play. After the siren. These blokes are brilliant.
Unlike when they didn’t pay a 50 to us for delaying play BEFORE the siren against Sydney that time.
I think they used the ‘common sense’ ruling then

Someone has to question the AFL why we don’t receive free kicks when the opposition get them for the exact same thing. And then there are the free kicks that aren’t even there. It’s absolute bullshite! This is every week, there is no consistency with these umpires. But no coach can speak up.

Think I'm done gents.
Can absolutely live through poor form and injuries and the general ups and downs.

Umpiring though has got to the point where it feels every 50/50 call goes to the opposition, horrid non-calls and frees getting plucked from nowhere.

Dow dropped the ball because he heard the siren. He did not realise the twerp had paid a questionable free. He needs to learn you hear the whistle it is an opposition free.

I don"t really blame Dow.

The traditional "run & gun" type of player selection over the years is starting to bite us. If we don't apply pressure, we look like we lack skills and smarts. Please pick a player who can mark and pick either to position or straight at goal

Seriously?

Yze is not the problem, has shown he can coach and will be a good coach.
*smile* - what is our structure? What is our game plan? These kids have no direction from the coach on how to play. The buck stops with the senior coach.

Be nice if they occasionally practice kicking for goal. 1.7 ffs.

We’re setting up well defensively - but our lack of talent around the ball and up front is sorely obvious. The effort was there till about half way through that quarter. Going to be a long second half. Very subdued crowd at the G - loudest noise comes after the umps whistle.

Me neither, a bit of common sense wouldn’t hurt.

Ben Miller the only bloke for me having half a crack.

Liam Baker must be thinking, ”I’d look better in purple.”

Ahhh, here we go. The old sack the coach brigade are coming back. Haven't seen you lot since 2016. Here to stimulate intellectual conversation I'm guessing.
