On an otherwise ordinary day--Trent Cotchin stamped himself as a future champion today. 25 touches in his 3rd game-given the chance to start in the centre at times -this bloke burn't the opposition -especially in the first half. He has the "it" quality that is hard to define--time, poise, pace ,2 sides to his body---the best 3rd game I have seen from an RFC player in maybe 15 years. Number 9--!! Wayne Campbell would be well satisfied!!

Lack of a pre-season meant Trent couldn't dominate the 2nd half...he was sensational in the first half...Coach could have used him sparingly...another stuff up by the coach...Trent is a star in the making...our only shining light today.

Under Wallace's contract, Cotchin's got 1.5 seasons to get into the 'zombie' mentality that top knotch kids like Lids and Bling are in.

Did any notice the dirty tactics of Adelaide to poor Cotchin? Everytime Cotchin disposed of the ball the crows would crunch or hit him. Not one Richmond player did anything about it. Just goes to prove how soft we are.

He is a pleasure to watch. Overcooked a few possessions in the second half but his first half was scintillating :fing32

Anyone see Mooney's tactics on Friday night, elbowing and punching his opponent, as soon as his opponent got one up on him Mooney cracked the poos.

Anyway, No I didn't see the Crows lay into him but it was great to see him perform well, it is sad that he is one of the few who do and he is playing only his 3rd game... :-\

Trent's first half is an insight into what is to come. He was one of the positives to come out of our atrocious fade out after a such promising start. We better beat melbourne next week. Trent is a gun and I think a great chance to get the NAB rising start nomination. He will only get better. His hands and footy brain are first class. Well done Cotchin. You are a shining light and a reason to come to the footy every week.

Showd more future leadership quality today than other other Tiger player has since Coughlan was firing in his b & f year!

This can still be prevented but if Wallace persists with those who are spreading it like wild fire then he is doomed.

Great first half. You can tell that he has skill. Terry really needs to start penalising blokes who overuse the ball. Nearly every player had more handballs than kicks.

Time to make a call on Jay Schulz now. Has always just been an average player, plays back and forward OK but not great at either end. I thought Thursfield was good again today.

Lids and Bling are halfway there.

Precisely my point. ;)

Lids - 45% effective disposals today. Way too many handballs & what was with the bomb to 4 Adelaide players inside our Fwd50 in the last qtr?
Although, in saying that, I think Bling has actually been going ok of late.
