I have been racking my small brain, trying to come up with a good..... no the perfect, most apt placard to hold up at the Dreamtime game that honours our indigenous players. My first idea, quickly discarded was a red and black banner with a giant hypodermic needle with ‘drug cheats’ written on it. It was quite appealing but beside the point. Another was ‘pupuni pupuni (good good In Tiwi) double Rioli! But it’s a year too early. And then I thought perhaps trying to ingeniously combine all our indigenous players names in a mind bending pun would be best. i came up with
‘I’ll have a shank of Edwards Served with Marlion, a side of egg Riolis and a shai stack of pure sweet talent please’
it’s not very good
any ideas??
I might hold it up on a small piece of card if anyone can come up with something better.
