Wayne Carey said on Footy Confidential last night that Richmond have had plenty of draft picks but just haven't used them properly. With so many salivating about Kruezer it made me wonder which players have been our #1 picks and also which ruckmen have been taken as #1 picks. Lids as our #1 pick and Fraser as a ruckman come to mind.
The one I'm mainly wondering about is Otto. Was he #1? The talk using our first pick this year to solve our ruck problems reminds me of the high hopes when we got Otto who showed promise but didn't really help us achieve success in any way. (Who incidentally is travelling ok now so his signed jumper I've got must be increasing in value...mustn't it? ;D )
Have the club indicated in any way that they'll use our first pick to address our ruck/KPP problems or is that speculation fuelled somewhat by media hype, with a sprinkle of wishful thinking, as the number 1 pick tends to be each year?
