$1200 For my dream Tiger experience.

Last night my brother attended a benifit in honour of Daniel Morcombe - the boy missing for a few years now from the Sunshine Coast.

There was a dinner last night to raise money for the foundation in his name.

Low and behold they had a silent auction for a lot of things, and it just so happened there was a lot - my brother noticed and immediately phoned me whilst I was out bush for work.

" A Tiger experience"

-flights for 2
-accomodation for 2
-2 reserved seats
-In the Richmond Dressing Rooms before and after the match
- Meet the coach and players ( watch out TW, Do I have some recruiting Questions for you in regards to previous strategy ;D)

All this for the Brissy game in the beginning of June. ( can't wait )

Well my bid came up trumps- it cost me $1200 and I was going to pay quite a bit more. - Unfortunately no Tiges in Brissy this year, so my main chance to see my team seemed lost. Up until last night.

$1200 seems a bargain to me, due to the package - I need a holiday.

I hope the Tiges go well up until then - otherwise TW won't like me much -  ;D

Just Kidding. I do need advice on a great drinking hole after the game though.



To finish - I will just say I'm rapt and I will see you Mexicans soon.

My old club had a benefit for an ex-teamate of mine(ours) who sadly has Motor neurone disease at a very young age.
We sold 540 tickets and turned away people from the old Heidelberg town hall 2 weeks ago and raised $75k for Narks and his family.
A close mate of mine paid $4k for 4 tickets to the ANZAC day game with access to both rooms prior and after game,and superbox with full meal and bar facilities.

I reckon your miles in front when weighed up with that deal!

PS....If we're Mexican, then is it safe to assume you consider yourself a Canadian?

How special this trip will be if we get the win this week. It is a winnable game for us.

Doubt if ever the song will be sung with more passion by the team. (if they remember it) - Itwould be a moment I won't forget.

Then again if we lose - it may add to the devastation.
