It's great having 20/20 hindsight.
Robert Walls, various media "experts" (and some PRE'ders) say NOW that we should have got Franklin and Roughead - rather than Deledio and Tambling.

That may or may not be proven right - one day. But to get credibility - it should have been said at Draft time - not 30 months later.
Anyone can rationalise the past and explain the present - AFTER it's all happened.
Why accept their views on isuues AT THIS POINT OF TIME - any more more than other things they've said at OTHER POINTS OF TIME.
If the people who are so smart on the Deledio/Tambling/Roughead/Franklin are to be believed NOW - surely they must have a good track record.
Did they also predict - AT SOME OTHER POINT OF TIME - such as this time last year -
- Thompson and Geelong would be where they are now
- Hawthorn would be 2nd
- North would have won as many games as they have
- Freo and Melbourne's current positions
I know bluddy well they weren't saying those things then - so why listen to them now?
