Re:Round 7 - PLAYER OF THE YEAR VOTES (vs Essendon)

3 - Johnson. Most disposals and led by example.
2 - Krakouer. Brilliant crumbing and snaps. As Big Kev would say....I'm Excited!
1 - Coughlan. Plenty of the ball and tough as teak.

If I could I would have given them all 3 points.

1. Coughlan - I think the Knights camp have latched onto a new blonde haired hero.

Hahaa TF, a lot of Tiger supporters must be relieved that Coughlan has emerged. Can't have Cambo getting 5 B&F now can we?

After having quite a few passengers last week, great to see a top TEAM effort :). The boys looked sharp and switched on even in the warm-up.

3. Johnson
2. Krakouer
1. Cogs

Apologies to nearly everyone else.

Re:Round 7 - PLAYER OF THE YEAR VOTES (vs Essendon)

Without doubt the toughest week..

3 - Johnson - class, skill, leadership and a clear passion for being a Tiger

2 - Anky Krakouer - I am with you Danny - I was really proud of him yesterday - sensational

1- *smile* - yes I am one of his harshest critics. But he lead that team from the front and was fantastic. It was I side of him we don't see often enough. Well done Gas ;) I wonder if the Age article fired him a bit more for yesterdays game?

Apologise to Cogs - who was sensational. IS he the most courageous player going around for us at the monent? he takes so much punishmenat and never flinches.

Special mentions to nearly everyone else. But a few lesser lights that never get any credit

Royce Vardy - not many possession but kept presenting and helped Staff out in the ruck.
Staff - seems the tougher things get the better this mans leadership is.
Andy Kellaway - not far behind in the courage stakes
Bidders - hmmm as Pres I'll give you your post ;D

Geez another hard one.

3. Kraks - you beauty
2. Gaspar - for keeping Lloyd to just one goal
1. Johnson

Special mention to Cogs, Bidders, Vardy, Nicholls

As said previously even Kane lifted his game but Joel Bowden still has some pretty serious turnovers - does he look at where he is sending the ball?

Re:Round 7 - PLAYER OF THE YEAR VOTES (vs Essendon)

How do you pick em this week. It has been a long time since I have seen everyone so committed and hard at the ball. It truly was a great team effort.

3. Mark COUGHLAN - a few errors by foot, but his
clearances and tenacity were first rate.
2. Kane JOHNSON - Class act with great skills
1. Andrew KRAKOUER - Unlucky not to poll higher. Did a
lot of hard things as well. One that springs to mind
was another dive under a pack to extract the ball
and handball out to someone and Johnno hit the
post. Inspiring stuff.

Thought our second tier players all did well. Thought VARDY and Biddiscombe were good today. Maybe Royce has just been played out of position hey.

The one thing that really stood out to me today was that there is no need for us to go negative early in games as our midfield has the ability to win the ball against most teams and we need to get on the front foot early rather than be negative like we were last week.

The word fear is obviously not in any dictionary Cogs has ever read.

Best effort against the odds since that 1995 final.

How are the other boys going to get a game next week if they come up????

As much as I admire Rogers I think he is in trouble next week. Thought Nicholls did enough in his first game as well.

Re:Round 7 - PLAYER OF THE YEAR VOTES (vs Essendon)

3 - Cogs: that boy does not like coming off the ground I reckon he could break a few bones and he'd still be trying to get the ball.
2 - Krak: Brilliant stuff, kicked goals but also did the hard stuff, great tackler.
1 - Johno: Worked his butt off, great effort and leadership.

Re:Round 7 - PLAYER OF THE YEAR VOTES (vs Essendon)

great team effort.
3/-johnson-lead from the front.showed leadership with the absence of cambo.
2/-krakour-best game for the club even more impressive was the fact he did it without us having a tall to feed off.
1/-stafford-hardest vote about 6 players deserved this. however staff got the nod because he stood tall when needed.
apologies to:
cogs,kellaway,chaffey,tivvers,gas.

Re:Round 7 - PLAYER OF THE YEAR VOTES (vs Essendon)

3. coughlan - he inspires everyone out there - started most of our momentum.
2. Johnson - teamed up well with cogs
1. Krakouer - magic.

Picture this. Everyone saw how brilliant krakouer was and how he bamboozled his opponents. Well of the coburg games i've seen where krak and mcgrath played in together, mcgrath looked just as lively and brilliant. Imagine the chaos these 2 would do together for richmond. Can't wait till they're both in the side.

3 - Krak. 5 goals, quality tackles, etc. MAGIC
2 - Cogs. I want to caress your chest Cogs
1 - Chaffey. Stood 'tall' early and ultra reliable

Appologies to 17 of the remaining 19.
Get rid of Pettiffer and Rogers!!!

P.S. I love Newman.

By the way Harry, saw Clinton King again on Friday - he reckons McGrath is no where near selection.

3. Kane Johnson - Mr. Team Man
2. Mark Coughlan - What can I say that hasn't already been said
1. Andrew Krakouer - Just love watching him weave his way through the opposition like they're not there

Special mentions to:

The entire back half: Reliable, dependable, too good
Andrew Kellaway - Do we take him for granted? How good is he?
The whole 22 - How good is it to see a real team effort ... sensational

Great game by most of the boys.
Stafford, Chaffey, Gaspar, Andy Kellaway, Tivendale, Pettifer and Biddiscombe were unlucky as well.
