Re: Player of the year-Round 1 vs Cats

There's one in every crowd.....every year. Someone always jumps the gun. Might be an idea for others to wait till after the game though.

Re: Player of the year-Round 1 vs Cats

I can't sleep! this is crazy!!!!!!

The local Tiges Glenelg got up here in SA today, that fired me up even more. During the week Glenelg were quoted at 66/1 for the SANFL flag, last rated team in the comp. The boys got up over West Adelaide in a come from behind win. Let's hope it is an omen for the black and gold!!!

BTW, does anyone know of a Richmond supporter group here in SA, I'd love to hook up with some locals who support a REAL team.

Sorry to be off topic, must be too many Easter Eggs..................

Hi Judge,

I'm the same as you. Yesterday seemed to be the longest day of the pre-season but no more sleeps now. I'm so excited.

Now time for a hot cross bun and an Easter egg then off to the footy.

Go Tiges.

Re: Player of the year-Round 1 vs Cats

There werent too many players to chose from.

3 - Campbell - used the ball very well.
2 - Richo - made the most out of limited opportunities.
1 - Gaspar - Spoiled well, one of a few defenders who played well

Apologies to Chris Newman, took the honours over Gary Ablett Jnr.

Re: Player of the year-Round 1 vs Cats

3. Newman (held a very good player despite the wealth of possession of the cats)
2. Richo (never stopped trying though dropped a few he should have taken)
1. Gaspar (because he was better than I thought he was going to be)

Hyde and Tuck battled hard but the Geelong midfield were rampant.

Re: Player of the year-Round 1 vs Cats

3 votes: Gaspar: played well all day for the amount of times that it down there.

2 votes: Graham: when he got on the ground he played a top game. He's got to play all day on the ground. It's sad that a bloke who got dropped from the worst team in the competition (we just had the worst coach) was one of our best players (but that might just be Clarkson).

1 vote: Richo: at least he had a go. A bad game for Richo was still one of our best players. This is very, very sad. :'( :'(

Re: Player of the year-Round 1 vs Cats

3 - Gaspar>(The only defender that really stood up today.)

2 - Tuck>(Good today would've liked to see him with more game time. He'll be better for the run.)

1 - Newman>(Was ok today even though i think Newman/Ablett broke even, Ablett kicked a couple & set up a few more, not many other
richmond players broke even, the only other was Gaspar.)
