3 decent sized big blokes amongst them. Hope they can play football, and not just there for their looks.

Interesting that Stephen Tiller isn't mentioned in the above academy listing?

Because he was taken by the Bulldogs in the 2004 draft. That's answering my own question.

McEntee listed at 197 now, grown 3 cm since the academy list came out.

Again nice pick up DF. Although sometimes I've found these height & weight dimensions to be a little inaccurate.

Now that I've done a couple of useful things today, I'll ask a stupid question to make up for it.

I'm hoping to get along to a couple of the matches at OO over the weekend and basically, am looking for some guidance in my viewing of these matches.

What to look for? Where to sit? Sit and watch? Take some notes? :-[

What to look for?
1. Players that are regularly getting into the play.
2. Players with extraordinary pace and skill.
3. Players that regularly do something magical.

Once you think you've identified a player, just keep watching his individual skill components.
1. Both hands & feet.
2. Long kicking & accuracy.
3. Overhead abilities.
4. Reading ball & play.
5. Reaction speed.

Where to sit?
1. To the left of the main entrance, I think the Harris Stand, you can sit indoors and have food & drink. This is where you get your player sheets if you don't preprint them.
2. Members wing outdoors - in shade, cold but can see better.
3. Outer wing outdoors - sun in your face, warm, more difficult to see, wear a hat.
4. At Carlton, because of the wind, play generally drifts to the outer side. Carlton have been playing via the members' wing for 100 years. It amazes me to this day that coaches don't demand that players, on Optus, play via the members' wing.

Take notes?
1. I suggest preprinting the player lists from the link on the other thread.
http://taccup.footballvictoria.com.au/_content/document/00043918-src.pdf
2. Always handy to take a few notes. Take as many as you wish.

They usually make a pretty comprehensive footy record that you'll be able to buy at the ground Draga.

PRe expects you to take comprehensive notes. ;)
