2006- we'll make the finals/Top 8 (merged)

Best chance is if we can replace the Doggies.

They play:

Adelaide (MCG)

St Kilda (Telstra Dome)

Essendon (Telsta Dome)

If they lose all three (which is a possibility) we have to win our 3.

Makes the loss to them last week crucial. Had we beaten them last week we would be on the same points as them (40) and a big chance of making the 8.

Will very extremely difficult now.




Or if Collingwood lose all three and again we win our 3.

Collingwood have:

Port (away)

Carlton (MCG)

Kangaroos (MCG)


Collingwood run home is much easier than the Doggies. But you never know.

Wouldnt it be great to replace them in the 8 in time for the finals!!
 
would need a miracle, pies wont drop all three, even despite their 'effort' on fri night. should regain enough form to win at least one more.
dogs however are a good chance to lose the next two and we are a good chance to win our next two so that would put the pressure on them in the last round and they may choke for the second year running, although beating the best team in the comp , WCE, is almost impossible for the blokes we'll have on the park rd 22.
 
If we do miss the eight, let's finish off strongly. I would love to see us pump carlton, essendon and west coast.

with the whole team playing well and of course Richo kicking 6 goals per match.

looks like the western bulldogs will beat essendon next week and finish on 13 wins.

and if we win tonight and next week, we'll finish on 12 wins.

main regrets?

round 10: v freo at Subiaco. Losing a game we had won and letting them kicking the last 4 goals.
round 12: our mindset in Tasmania against Hawthorn.
round 18: bad kicking for goal against the westernbulldogs (an '8 point' game)
rounds 1, 7, 17 - (the 100 pt blow outs). Our inability to control the damage

Are you kidding??

Have a look at the percentage difference.

Even if the Bummers beat the Dogs tonight by a small margin we would have to beat WCE by over 250pnts!!!

I placed a wager on the doggies tonight.  Do you really think Essendon would win and lose their priority pick!  The priority pick that they will trade for Jason Akermanis!  A meaningless win and they would lose a superstar - Essenscum are too professional for that.

No we cannot make the finals.

Wiss Coast average 99pts a game this year. If that 's what they get against us tomorrow, we need to bring our "points for" up to 2300.

We need to score 451.

How would that be:

TIGES 73. 13. 451
WCE 15. 9. 99

Why is when the Tigers can muster a possible 12 wins for a season something always happens that its not enough. I wonder if our club have a hex on them.

Dogs won and are on 13 wins, so much for the 12 wins theory AND again we will probably see the Tigers in a customary 9TH !.

Go Tiges in 2007.

Hopefully our fortunes change

It was weeks ago TZT- but you cant help but admire the optimism of some of the supporters of the mighty Tiges. Still good to see and i just cant wait till we are in there with no iffs or butts ;D
