PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum

Now let me start by saying I reckon young Patto's game still needs a bit of work but I have a gut feeling he will become a significant contributor for us this year.

According to the RFC website he now weighs 98kg's from the 90 he was drafted at so at 198 cm's that's almost his ideal playing weight. He runs all day, is a big unit who can split a pack apart, he's smart and he takes a decent grab. Sure, his kicking can sometimes be a mixed bag but it's mostly effective and anyway he loves to dish off to our runners by hand. I really think he was a great pick by GM in the 2004 draft and am excited about his prospects in the yellow and black in 2007 and beyond. Now if Danny Meyer clicks we really will have done well from the Otto trade.
