Here's how I see 2007 panning out for us.

In the pre-season we will identify 1 or 2 young guns who are training the house down.
There will be one inury scare before the NAB cup even starts.
We will all pile into the tel$tra dump and marvel at our new game plan as we lose our first round NAB cup match.
There will be some surprising results from our regional challenge games that will raise our hopes.
Our first round game will be a blowout and leave us scratching our heads but remaining hopeful.
In our second game one of the opposition players will celebrate a marvelous milestone and channel 7 can spend 20 minutes going on and on about how great an ornament to the game he is.
Third game narrow loss.
The next few games we pinch a few wins in close finishes causing most of us heart failure.
About round 14 we will play an interstate team and they will include an unknown rookie who will kick 8 goals in the first quarter.
The very next round we will beat the bottom team and once again think we are back!
Not to worry, a favourite son of some other Melbourne team will come back from injury and regain all his goal kicking form by slotting 14 goals in 10 minutes.
Next round, just to keep tradition alive, we will play a team celebrating a MAJOR milestone. The recently sacked coach, who's son needs a lung transplant, has a favourite player who has played 783 games and won 5 brownlows and is playing his record breaking and final game while the whole world watches on with amazement and admiration! We lose by 55 points.
We win the next game against the second last team.
Our form is on the rise and everyone is talking about what great strides we have made. Some commentators even suggest we are making a push for the finals in 2008!
In our last game, we lose and finish 9th.
The grand final features 2 non Victorian teams and a West Australian wins the brownlow.
Summer has arrived and we are all off to the cricket.

I look forward to copy and pasting the same predictions with only the dates changed next year.

haha brought a laugh from me.

My little predictions

- 13 win for season

- We beat Western Bulldogs in first final then lose to St.Kilda the next week.

- For once we have a % of over 100, which it will be 100.1

- Deledio wins the B&F

- Richo kicks 70 goals and comes equal second with J.Brown in Coleman behind Big Bustling Baz.

- Big call but Brisbane for wooden spoon.

- 30,000+ members

- Kellaway retires

- Dal Santo for Brownlow

My 2007 prediction is that unless we get rid of the littany of duds that infest the RFC we will be in for another winter of discontent. And Greg Miller will continue to recruit footballers that are shithouse kicks a la Pattison. Mmmm, sounds familiar ::)

Sounds about right. I expect finals next year and a percantage over 100. If we can get that than im satisified.
