Geelong would have to be a better bet than Richmond - a little over a year ago they were a kick outside the grand final

That's not true. They were a kick away from a "Preliminary Final" not a Grand Final.

Point taken, still the notion of potentially rebounding strongly in the stye of a Melbourne still remains...again it's simply perception.

Kelly, Johnson, Mackie and Tenace have all been disappointments and didn't come on at all last year. You would be gambling they will be injury free and find some form next year. If they do I see them being contender.

As also mentiioned by Tygrys the improvement of the two Abletts and the addition of Hawkins will improve there forward set up. Not bad value at $15

forget Melbourne,Geelong and Freo.
Had their chances.
Definitely like the doggies.
Hawks will continue to improve if they get more discipline.
I reckon that there will be a minor resurgence of Vitorian sides whilst there will be a decline in interstate clubs.......!@#$*smile*!port power%$#@!@ being the exception....look out for them.
Swannies and eagles will still have a say.
Sainters are the smokey I reckon...depends who ends up coachin em.Theyll either figure big-time or crash and burn big time, such is their position.

Agree with the Doggies starting at $8.00. THe addition of Aker and the return of all there injured players will make them a force. They will be the pride of the Vic teams.

Because they are overrated crap perhaps?  :theyareontome <-- Connolly

How many of our players would get a game in Freo's best XVIII? Not many I would suspect. They have an excellent list!

Let's not become dillussional in the off season...

Not talking about the players, talking about the team. Put a decent coach in charge and they would be really dangerous. Their attitude sucks, too many individuals IMO.

plus I really hate Connolly, shhh.

If Freo and Richmond formed a combined team no doubt Freo would have more players but out of 22 I reackon we would still have 8 or 9 of those. To say that Freo would have the majority is very simplistic. The same theory applies to the All Australian side. I'm not saying that all Sheedy's choices are correct but the side is well balanced. It is one thing to have a strong looking list and another to have a well balanced side. Most sides are only 2-3 years and 4 or so right player decisions away from success. To say that we need a major overhaul is incorrect. It is all about the decisions made regarding the balance of our side and I reckon if we get our Key Backs right then things will improve dramatically over the next 2 seasons. Well that's my optomistic view anyway FWIW.

RICHMOND/ST KILDA - $120

RICHMOND/SYDNEY - $100

RICHMOND/WEST COAST - $60

RICHMOND/BULLDOGS - $160

I wish that it could be the last one
