2008 attendances, well done Tiger fans.......again!

Our Home crowd figures would also have been improved but for the stupid AFL scheduling the following home games;
1. TD - StKilda :don't know :don't know
2. TD - Melbourne :don't know :don't know
3. MCG - Adelaide
4. MCG - Freo
Some Friday night home games would also help, so look out 2009 ...

Team Total Average Change

Richmond 934,972 42,498 + 25,769
Hawthorn 910,679 41,394 +141,140
Geelong 837,584 38,072 + 75,534

Anyone who still thinks we are not 1 of the big 4, think again.

you sure we're one of the big 4? our membership is crap (in the bottom 8 i believe), and the average crowd figures to not tell the exact story.

2 points:
1. the wee's and poo's played 4 home games in tassie. they would have overtaken us if they were all played in melb. geelong played 8 at skilled staduim. they would have overtaken us too if they played more in melb.
2. we only played 3 home games against the lower drawing interstate teams this year

Comeon Ian, you are comparing a team that came off a wooden spoon against:

Geelong who are premiers and odds on to win this years flag

Hawthorn who finished 2nd and have the buddy factor

Go back through previous seasons, and regardless of ladder position, the Richmond Football Club draws in the top 4 in crowds time and time again.

sorry but i don't buy into the argument that we are one of the so called big 4. been saying it for a long time... even started a thread about it. 25 years of failure has left a generation gap that will take another generation to rectify.

Imagine what would happen if we actually made the 8 and looked like staying there. If the final on Saturday had been North VS Richmond there would have been 60,000 minimum at the game.

Too bloody right.

LOL at the Hawthorn supporters.

Bumped up by 140 odd thousand but still couldn't keep up with us.

Get to the g NEXT YEAR.

LET'S GET THIS PARTY STARTED!

I note the Essenscum supporters have jumped back in their boxes ready for the next climb up the ladder, and judging by their pitiful list we won't see them for a while. Good riddence losers. Fickle fair weather supporters.

Dawkthorn and Carlscum supporters popping up like blackheads on a teenager.
