My plea to TW to play Richo from the goal square has fallen upon deaf ears.

The whole football world knows Richo is a great athlete.

The whole football world knows his decision making and poor shot for goal has killed us throughout his career.

The whole football world knows Richo is Richmond through and through...and gives his all week in week out.

Just have a look what Jono Brown did in that last minute against Sydney tonight...have a look at Carey, Ablett, Lockett and Dunstall in the past...these blokes you would put your house on to kick a critical goal for you.
I wouldn't risk $50 Monopoly money on Richo to kick a critical goal.

Play him from the Square in 2008 and 2009 Terry...he will kick 70 goals for us...it's time for the youngsters to grab the "pill" 50-70 metres out from goal.

Richo has 46 games left in his football career...he has done enough running and busting his ass for us to get that "pill"...he will NOT be in the team when we will be playing finals footy in 2010 and beyond.
He is as strong as anyone out there...he would be best suited playing from the square similar to what Alistair Lynch did in his twilight years.
He is capable of kicking 70-80 odd goals by doing that...he has kicked 50 goals for us this year...roaming all around the forward line...confusing the sh*t out of our younger players.

Next year I'd like to see Patto become our CHF...with JR, Browny roaming that HF line.

Unless he can find some new miracle kicking boots then he wont kick 80 goals. Does anyone know if Reebok make those kind of boots?

As much as i love the big fella, I agree.

I want Richo to play like the old Ruckman/Forward used to play in the old days...he will never be outmarked by his opponent...and the ball more often than not will come to ground...and the likes of Deledio, Edwards and Brown will do the rest.
Shers how will Richo be kicking 30-40 metres out...taking a mark in the goal square mate ?

Let's face it...we need to try something different...Pettifer has 2 games left with the Richmond Football Club...he's had his chance...and I believe our forward line would perform beautifully the way I'm wanting it to be.

I can't imagine Richo playing a FF role. He only knows one way to play , no matter where you start him he will be leading to the wing all night. It seems to me he either plays that running role or he doesn't play. :-\
