Outstanding PT. All year...simply outstanding.
Is it all just natural Excel ability or do you have your own software program?
Thanks alot.

Thanks all for the comments.

I use Access to collate and organise the data and Excel to do some of the analysis and presentation. I am certainly no expert on them!

Great effort all year Panthera. As a first year PREnder it has been a highlight, both participating and reading your Round analysis. Thanks alot! :clap

Congrats Pants on a huge effort. It will be very interesting to see how this tally matches up on Wednesday night.

Re: The 2008 Punt Road End Player of the Year Awards Thread

Just the comparison between the PRE votes and the JDM results. I have included the normalised results in brackets for comparison.

RICHMOND FC PLAYER PUNT ROAD END DIFFERENCE
1 Brett Deledio 2 (1) +1 (-)
2 Shane Tuck 3 (3) +1 (+1)
3 Matthew Richardson 1 (2) -2 (-1)
4 Chris Newman 6 (5) +2 (+1)
5 Kelvin Moore 12 ( 8 ) +7 (+3)
6 Troy Simmonds 9 (11) +3 (+5)
7 Nathan Foley 4 (4) -3 (-3)
8 Jordan McMahon 14 (14) +6 (+6)
9 Nathan Brown 7 (6) -2 (-3)
10 Kane Johnson 10 (13) - (-3)

Players in the top 10 in the PRE Player of the Year that did not appear in the JDM top 10: Jake King (5) and Joel Bowden ( 8 ).

Not too bad. It certainly seems we underrated Moore, McMahon and perhaps Simmonds compared to the RFC. We over-rated King, Bowden and perhaps Foley.

Though if you look at the PRE Brownlow you created it's a lot closer

1 Brett Deledio 26
2 Matthew Richardson 22
3 Shane Tuck 14
4 Nathan Foley 10
5 Chris Newman 8
=6 Nathan Brown 7
=6 Joel Bowden 7
8 Jake King 6
=9 Kane Johnson 5
=9 Kelvin Moore 5

fantastic effort pantera. Better than the bloody club site. This thread should be be positioned near the top of page 1 so it doesn't slide down, otherwise people like me who get on the site irregularly may get to see it after its slid down off page 1. Thanks again

Re: The 2008 Punt Road End Player of the Year Awards Thread

Thanks snake. I actually quite enjoy looking after the voting. Watching Lids creep back in the second half and Tucky rise from nowhere was very interesting. I also find it interesting to see where the fans differ from the coaching staff in their assessment.
