:clap Just *smile* fantastic Pantera.

Reckon that's a pretty good reflection of how the season went too.

Hear hear!!!
Blooody hell, Panthera. What a piece of work. A great summation. An enormous amount of work you've put into that. Many thanks for your untiring efforts throughout the season, collating all the votes and giving your weekly summary. I, for one look forward to it each week. I would like to contribute my votes on a weekly basis, however not getting access to some games, it makes for "cheating" a bit, putting in votes off other media.(IMO)
Once again, thanks a million for your brilliant work. :clap

Great effort all year round, and a huge task to summarise player performance and stats for the PRE Player of the Year Awards. Have been looking forward to reading the Awards results and your comments for a few weeks and you don't disappoint. I'm sure everyone here appreciates your efforts, SENSATIONAL WORK!!

It seems like a long time ago that Matty White was featuring prominently amongst the Tiger’s best, but he certainly was during the beginning of the 2009 season. For the first quarter of the season he was in the top 5 on PRE Player of the Year polls, racking up double digit votes in 3 of the first 5 games. However, it was downhill from that point as he only managed 2 more votes for the rest of the season. Clearly, this was due to a form slump and a tendency to turn the ball over which led to him being dropped from the senior side. At his best, Matty White has the ability to use his pace to break the lines and deliver into the forward 50, however he needs to continue to work on his skills and try to rub out the errors that can creep into his game. If any player has the drive and desire to achieve that goal, Whitey is the one. He will need to show some improvement and consistency if he is to feature prominently for the Tigers in 2010.

Great work on the rankings PT. I'm sure all Tiger fans will congratulate you on a job well done. :clap

However, if I may pick you up on one point.....Whitey wasn't dropped from the side for any games in 2009 due to form. Probably should have been but wasn't.

He did a hammy against Freo and spent a few weeks recovering, played one game at Coburg for fitness and played the rest of the season except for two games where his hammy was tight before a game.

He sure needs to improve next year though.

Ah...I had forgotten about his hammy. You are, of course, correct. I still stick by the general assessment and hope that he is able to iron out some of his deficiencies next year. Knowing Matty White, he certainly won't fail from lack of effort.

As always PT, brilliant stuff.
Thank you.

Must say though, I am disgusted in myself for having the honour if giving Sanchez too many votes. I'm sure it was a typo ....

You've raised the bar pretty high PT, I'm not sure if you can top it next year. (You are going around again aren't you >:D)
