2009 Preliminary Draw leak

With the first match on a Thursday, no match on a Friday and then matches on Saturday, one would assume from this draw that Easter falls in March during round 1. In fact, Easter Sunday is 12 April. Yet this draw says the 12th is a Saturday.

Looks like a fake to me.

This was the first thing I noticed about it.

Footy doesn't start for six months and we've got the trade period to get through. I'm sure I can handle waiting the month necessary to get the real deal from the AFL.
 
oh thats funny.,...who would have time??? have you seen how long some posts are on here with statistics and everything...i dont even have time to read them.!!!

so...people do seem to have the time..not necessarily a child on school holidays....it is not whether a person has the time..it is whether a person has the inclination....

well..it kept someone occupied for a while..and made some interesting reading for some others!!

Im pretty sure that the round 1 game V the blues in 09' will be richmonds home game, in 2007 when we started the opening season game V the blues it was our home game, this years opening round it was the blues home game so im more than confident RD 1 of 2009 will be RFC home game...

If you read the rest of the thread you would realise that this draw is just a hoax.

Good Friday 2009 is April 10 so there won't be any game on Thursday 19 March.

i read it mate, i know its from big footy the draw is not even out yet, i didnt even look at the date i just know we play the blues in RD 1 but as there are 3 pages of posts i thought id just put mine in, and i kept it to just RD 1, thats ok with you YT
