Correct....but I bet someone here will suggest we grab that stumbling, no peripheral vision, list clogger, Kosi.
If the Saints offload him...please Richmond don't entertain any thoughts of grabbing Kosi.

Hey we don't need him, haven't you heard we're getting Brad Miller...

OK bring it on !

So the siren has sounded and the filth got over the line....coool...they dont impress me much ,now its time for Richmond to inflict some more misery on that egotistical club ......use Jack Dyer ,s passionate hatred of the black and white and let,s whack into em next year......

Re: One reason i'm glad Pies won.

I am not at all glad the Pies won but if I was a punter i'd have made hay.
Their bottom 8 sh!t on the Aints bottom 8 and they were the best team this season by some distance.

The Pies. I actually get the feeling that the Pies are about to enter into a premiership window of about 5-7 years if they continue on the same path of drafting kids with sound skill sets. The other part for the Pies is that their really isn't team about to step up and challenge them.
The Saints and Cats are both sides that have to take small steps backwards before they can have another long term tilt at the top. The Dogs are in the same boat, the Dockers may be the biggest chance but no would be shocked to see them slid back to 10th next year.

Unless someone jumps up, the Pies have a real chance to bank two or three more flags over the next five years.

I have a feeling that the Pies have capitalised on an opportunity like Hawthorn did in 2008.

They lack key forwards, and at the end of the day, that will cost them. Having midfielders that kick goals is one thing, but if you put them under pressure they are not unstoppable. They really need a couple of tall marking options who kick straight to be a dominant force.

You can malign the Cats in this area, but at their peak the Cats had better options up forward, and a more potent game breaking midfield.

The Pies are also very reliant on Jolly. If he gets hurt, then they are going to be exposed in the ruck.

Re: OK bring it on !

God I hope so, if we're fixtured to play them late in the year again I hope we smack them - I'm getting sick of losing to them and Carlscum. Round 1 next year I won't us to be 1-0 on top of the ladder. :clap

Re: OK bring it on !

We've been evolving for a while now, but other teams like Geelong, St.Kilda, Bulldogs, Carlton and Essendon will all need to make some serious changes so they don't stand still and can compete with sides already rebuilding and already utilizing pure youth.

I'd love to smack them all while they have their pants down.
They've shown us no pity for 30 years.

If we smell blood, we need to rub their faces in it.

Go Tiges.

So long as their dressing rooms don't look poxy. ::)

No their rooms look fine, you can find your way into their dressing rooms without a can opener and a map from Darth Vader.
They still believe they are a sporting club. Isn't that disgraceful? ::) x2

Not a cross between an 80's Tee Shirt and a Tafe College on LSD.

Bit Touchy Old One?....Senior Citizens should be in bed this time of night.
