Goddard was robbed IMHO. Sure Hayes played very well but Goddard almost singlehandedly dragged them back into it late in the first then the 3rd.

Well said - goddard was head and shoulders above anyone else

Sums it up well...at least neither team won though.
At least one person is happy with the draw. ;D

I cracked the *smile* and turned the TV off after Davis kicked the goal in the last to put the pies 14 points in front,i`m spewin i did now, seems i missed a great comeback by the Saints. :(

So what happened?
Who kicked the goals for the Sainters?

goodness me that was a nail biting finish, wow! Watching the aftermath, I do feel for the players. From a selfish perspective though, it's kind of exciting to have another big game to look forward to. Will they parade the players through the city again?

I was hoping the Pies lost by a point...I was screaming for it!
LMAO The Pies are in the Tiger rooms :D That's just a bonus.
I thought Goddard would win the Norm Smith Medal.
Unfortunately this means Scumwood are still a chance to win a grand final.

Geez, next weeks GF is in October.

Does that mean collingwood will win? :-\

They won their last GF in october

Why did Milne let the ball go through for a point when he could've jumped onto it, stopped it, pick it up and run into an open goal.

These 1%ers are needed in GFs.

As this is the first AFL GF draw, I hope they don't go through the same procedures for GF week (especially the parade)

Get real!

If he could have, he would have! ::)

The ball bounced through the behinds, he had no chance!

I was willing someone from the Saints to get a boot in the forward line in that last minute. Even a handball!

TF, this is not the first draw. North v Collingwood in 1977 was the first draw. I suppose if you want to be technical than yes it is the first AFL draw.

I might have seen it wrongly from TV, but it looked like the ball just passed him close by. Maybe I'm wrong.

In fact I just saw it now on Ch 7 news and Milne was close enough to the ball and could've stuck his foot out and soccered it through rather than let it pass through for a point.

As I said earlier, "if he could have he would have"!
