Ok I'l be blunt back to u! Are u blind to our shortfalls! Are u oblivious that witha couple of injuries to our ruckman that our midfield can't touch the ball. That then puts pressure on young and undersized backline. Because we're getting smashed out of the middle our forward line then never or invariably gets decent ball delivered forward.
To be honest i think we have some fantastic talent on our list. But Miller , Wallace, and any knowleable football fan will tell you we are short of several classy ruckman, some grunt in the middle and a few classy talls, whinge and carry on, all ya like but with a draft in place these things take time.
Ok if we get the No1 pick this year we get Mat kreauzer, a tall ruckman forward. great then we get pick17. A tall back, then 18, a strong bodied midfielder. Then we hope they develop quickly enough.
As you can see these things take time, and with 15 other clubs trying to make 2008,2009,2010,2011 and beyond their year, its a battle.
To be realistic with the money the interstate clubs have it will be always a huge battle for the vic clubs. Not only in 2011 but every year we all participate.
So U2 whinge like a b!tch if you want, if we don't make it 2007, or 2011, but i'm telling you it will take a super human effort for us or any of the vic teams to challenge over the next few years
