On the umpires. There were some ironical cheers in the first half when the cats got a free, as personally i think Port had the 50/50's. Someone once mentioned that once momentum swings so do the UMPS, (happens all the time) and after half time we (cats) got an awesome run. the most crucial one was the Corey one, how the ump figured that out i have no idea.

agree on the momentum thing. 3rd was terrible ump-wise. Geelong on fire, Port battling hard to stay in it, there's be a string of hard tackles and incorrect disposals that should have been frees to port, Port would finally win possession, get tackled, free to Geelong. It was cruel.
I hate how the umps swing with momentum. Always happened and always will, but it can be cruel.
I was barracking for the underdogs and hate geelong, so I was biased of course.
The umps getting caught up in the momentum is part of the game. It always happens. The one exception is when Richmond start to get some. Then the umps halt it asap with ridiculous decision making. e.g. TV's tackle and advantage to edwards when he had 10 blues hanging off him. Am I the only one who saw that? I havnt read any discussion on it. Hope Hawks belt the Cats. We wouldve beaten an out-of-juice sydney tonight i reckon. Oh well, next year.
I just laugh at these dopey promos Ch 7 keep wasting time on with those slow mo close ups of footballers faces and dopey hip hop music (Bliss N Eso tonight)
