SOS should never be forgotten because as we know history repeats.Every board member should have to read about it at the start of every season.
Around the time of the SOS I was at a sports function and the guests were Kim Hughes and Graham Moss. I spoke with both of them after the function and I’ll never forget that Graham Moss said that the AFL should let RICHMOND die because they have destroyed themselves and there are too many clubs in Melbourne anyway. I recall very passionately saying that RFC would never die because the supporters wouldn’t let it happen and when we were successful again that he would see the true power of the club.
Took over 25 years for that to happen but it eventually did.

Much prefer the 10th anniversary to fall on the same last digit as when he started. Otherwise I'll never remember my milestone wedding anniversaries, which could mean I have less of them.

When completed. This is why I hate this chicken or egg debate with numbers. It went viral when 2000 started...:))
But he's just completed his 10th season and it culminated in a premiership. I'm not actually sure where the confusion in this sits. His 10th season is all done and dusted. This is his 11th pre-season as Richmond coach.

100 Years 1st Premiership
40 Years 10th Premiership
30 Years SOS

Will the club celebrate all 3 ?

OK, well as taz posted, all those 3 are incorrect also, unless the real meaning/saying is "10 years Dimma".

Next year will be 50 years since Copyingwood got beaten in the 1970 Grand Final, blowing a 44 point half time lead:rotfl2:rotfl1:clap2:banana

Reminds me of Jack now :))

It was, but it's like remembering a funeral.

He started in 2010 but, OK, I won't debate on numbers...
Hardly a funeral, more like the Battle of Britain - bounced of the ropes when all looked lost. Possibly the greatest win we've ever had.

Well not really.

Our 1st premiership was won on 2nd October 1920 so 2020 is absolutely the 100th anniversary as the anniversary is the 2nd October 2020.
Our 10th premiership was won on 27th September 1980 so again 40 years the anniversary is 27th September 2020.

Dimma was appointed on 25th August 2009 so his 10 year anniversary was 25th August 2019 (already gone). In terms of full seasons, his season ranged from:

1 - 2010
2 - 2011
3 - 2012
4 - 2013
5 - 2014
6 - 2015
7 - 2016
8 - 2017
9 - 2018
10 - 2019
11 - 2020
