Wow 19 teams, should be fun.

DS
It’s actually 21 teams, that list doesn’t include Aspley and Southport (QLD).

Interestingly the article says the salary cap is $100,000 for AFL affiliated clubs and $200,000 for stand alone. What does each player get, $10,000?

I wondered about the number of teams as I read about a couple more. Apparently a 16 round season but I suppose we'll see when it happens.

Salary cap does look low although that would only be players not on the AFL list I presume.

True but there's still what, a dozen VFL listed players? I'm guessing it's just match payments.

Why is it only 16 rounds when there are 22 teams? Seems strange with the financial pressures that teams will have to travel interstate.

If Miller has come on as reported and if he's to play back that would limit Beasley's opportunities, wouldn't it? And we've held on to Garth.

Do we have any VFL players this year, or we just going to play with the 22, minus injuries, who arent picked in the ones?

Probably will be the AFL clubs seconds doing most of the traveling as better bankrolled.

Rubbish idea too many teams.

The NEAFL was fine on its own.
