Marlion has played 76 games thus far, 100 is on the cards.believe Marlion needs to play the whole season without injury, suspension or dropped for form to get to 100 games. Me thinks the father son ship has sailed.

78, not 76Marlion has played 76 games thus far, 100 is on the cards.
78. plenty of chances to make 100 this season. he has the 23 H&A games, plus 3 finals, plus the opening round, and the closing round. and the middle round. and the late round. and the early round. and the gather round. and the reach around. and the fool around. Agree. Those 5 havent had the chance to really show how good they are yet, mainly because of injury (or size in Clarke's case.) but all have excellent traits. and all will (Correct and this was our aim with the class of 2021. All of Gibcus, Brown, Banks, Sonsie and Clarke have very good kicking skills.
Personal view but our kids are under rated outside of the club (and also by a number of our supporters) but we have a number that could be good to very good players,

We know that Gibcus, Cumberland and Sonsie are AFL level, we have seen it. Big 2024's from them would be awesome.Correct and this was our aim with the class of 2021. All of Gibcus, Brown, Banks, Sonsie and Clarke have very good kicking skills.
Personal view but our kids are under rated outside of the club (and also by a number of our supporters) but we have a number that could be good to very good players, its just not enough of them look like elite juniors, which is why I call it a reverse list build. Building the cogs around the engine, that plugging that in last.
I see 2024 as a season thats largely no-lose for us, unless we get some serious injuries amongst the young kids. If we make finals, then it shows that the kids and the new gameplan really work well together. If we finish bottom 5, then we will get a lot of games into these young kids, and add that elite talent through the draft next year.
and Samson RyanI know a lot has been said about our drafting (and the lack of kids by a couple of vocal posters on here), but over the last 2 drafts I'm very upbeat about most of the below prospects.
Gibcus - Injury allowing will be a gun and a top player for us
Brown - Showed in his 1 game that he has the talent, should add a lot more games this year
Banks - Similar to Brown but with 6 games
Sonsie - We all know of his talent but fitness was an issue and late starts to pre-season obviously the big impact here. Very encouraged by Caesars training reports so far, could be very good to a top player
Clarke - Only just turned 20 - 16 games and has shown his talent but as you say needs a bit of time in the gym
Smith - Injury ruined his 1st season - Looks to be free of that in pre-season
Green - Not sure I see it yet
Campbell - Ditto to Smith
Thats 8 drafted in the ND and RD over the last couple of years and I think all (though I have queries over Steely) could play a big part in our future.
Add to those the MSD recruits in Bauer (we've seen what he can do in the 2's), Tresize (very composed and could play a role in the AFL) and Coulthard (great running patterns, good kick, reckon we'll see a lot more of him this year) and thats 11 players drafted over the last 2 years (only 2 top 20) but most of them have already shown they can play at the AFL level which is a great sign.
Looking forward to see which 3 kids we add to this mix over the next couple of days (maybe 2 and a few train on players)

100 games pfffttt. With all of these extra rounds he'll get a chance to play his 150th next season!78. plenty of chances to make 100 this season. he has the 23 H&A games, plus 3 finals, plus the opening round, and the closing round. and the middle round. and the late round. and the early round. and the gather round. and the reach around. and the fool around. Not if he plays like this year again. The club will get Marlion to 100 games whether this is 2024 or 2025
This stood out at training last week, kicked a couple of dinky kicks to the opposition, under no pressure.Trezise has kicking issues, hopefuly Yze can rectify his technique and he will be a good player.
He still has a certain legal issue that has to be dealt with before thinking about 100 gamesThe club will get Marlion to 100 games whether this is 2024 or 2025
played out of position for most of the yearNot if he plays like this year again.
What is the update on this? Does anyone know?He still has a certain legal issue that has to be dealt with before thinking about 100 games
My view is that Marlion is a mid. Not even a winger.played out of position for most of the year
