No doubt about that , someone commented that the freedom for the fb to run 25m before launching means there’s less ball staying i50 for the small forwards to do their defensive stuff , we ve been caught out a bit there , as ours were scrappers first footballers second. The 2021 evolution has corrected that role and we need to focus on more skilled natural small forwards with defensive skills second , MRJ should be prime candidate, no rush though , likely another pre season would benefit
