According to the official AFL stats:
http://stats.afl.com.au/public/statistics/attendSBSsummary/14/All/All/attendSBSsummary_14_all_all.shtml?club_idIndex=13&season_idIndex=0&venue_idIndex=0
Sometime in 2008, the number of people who will have officially attended Richmond VFL/AFL matches will tick over the 50,000,000 mark.
The stats on that site don't have any figures for the 1908/1917/1918 seasons, so we probably already have gone well past that number, but in our "Centenary" year it may be good to officially tick over the 50 million mark.
I estimate that we may well exceed the 50,000,000 mark at the Round 11 match against Adelaide at the 'G - perhaps the club should make a big deal about it?
Imagine being stopped at the turnstile and being told that you are the 50,000,000 person to attend a Richmond VFL/AFL match!!
