Why on earth would we go for Knighter? Same as Campbell. New breed required IMO.

Knights is a Richmond person and he was a tough player. Will not shy from a battle and will tell the players some hard facts. Also a very well respected football brain and respected by the tiger faithful.

Please tell me no-one is seriously considering
Sheedy (old)
Campbell (inexperienced and not doing the job as midfield coach)
Knights (just not avaliable)
Pagan (old)
Ayrs (gooone)
Williams (not interested)
Malthouse (not the type of coach we need)

no...no...no
At the moment Hardwick is the best option IMO but let's dig a bit deeper.

Chocco is a monty for the CFC job, a perfect fit...
eddie and Chocco a match made in heaven.

They could noose a tie around each's others neck at the same time.

How about we don't go for a 50 year old, or someone who has tried often and failed just as much...

Someone from a successful playing career and a successful assistant coaching career are what we need.

I also think some good points have been raised to back up March in not wanting to get rid of Tezza now, or to announce to the world that we are after a new coach now.

And doing a good job with Essendon IMHO.

wouldn't it be great to give Williams the gig and in 3 years time, he and Newman standing on the dias, last Saturday in September, Williams could say "TERRY, YOU WERE WRONG"
