PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum

I went to the footy clinic for kids run by the club last week, and I was shocked - no horrified - by the lack of conditioning on our players. With apologies to a few, out new recruits don't look like they would be able to punch their way out of a wet paper bag. They have very immature bodies – but I'm sure they can run really fast and jump really high. Pity we are not an athletics team! No wonder they are simply pushed off the ball. You will never read about Richmond players involved in a pub brawl, as they would still be out the front trying to convince the bouncer that they are older than 14.

Lets hope a few get sand kicked in their face over summer - it worked for Atlas
