Yeah sorry Growl, it's my standard two-character stats abbreviation for Sydney/South Melbourne. Whilst it runs somewhat against the grain for me to use Sy for South Melbourne players, I did it suspecting that younger people might be thrown a bit by SM.

Great Man Laurie Nash, when I was young (I didnt know who he was) I went to a sportsman night for local cricket team and there was him, Whale Roberts and Alan Miller.
Dont remember much about the night but know Dad said he was a brilliant speaker. His great line is "The greatest footballer I ever saw, was the one I looked at every one morning when I shaved"

Without researching he played 1 test for 5or 6 wickets !!! and once kicked 16 goals in an interstae match for Tassie.

Was lucky enough to get his autograph.

My son and l made a small 100 game banner which was to be used late last year.

The Banana's have worked it all out.
Since the untimely exit of Ray "99 Luft Balloons" Hall the Tigers have won only 12 of 29 contests.
No Razor, no Richmond.
I think there's something in that for everyone.
