Royal , Casey , King and Rawlings are the problem.
Terry surround with his mates, you forget to add Paul Armstrong , Damian Monkurst and Wayne Johnston, memory laspse ?

Terry has surrounded himself with yes men who fail to challenge him in anyway.

How did Terry know Rawlings and King before he joined? How do you know they are the problem? Royal I'm a bit meh about, and Casey I have no idea who he is really.

Isn't that what its all about. Oh now you want to talk about a wooden spoon

Terry Wallace is about to pick us up a spoon with one win for the year.
It'd be hard for Roos to do much worse.
It would be hard for many coaches to do worse.

I thought the argument was about doing better not worse. In simplistic terms its hard to finish any lower than bottom of the ladder.

Anyway you bloody Sydney sider give your mate Roosy a call and see if he wants to come down and take the job on..... :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl

Don't worry Rosy we do jest on this one. ;D

Hey Phantom, dont get mixed up with people who say the right things to your face e.g Club 80 Functions etc and people who actually know what there doing, as they are poles apart.
Rawlings and King are the perfect example. ;)

One would hope that the culture at the RFC is based on:
1. Trust
2. Integrity
3. Inspiration
4. Innovative thinking
5. Mutual support & development

I choose to trust others first, hoping they return that trust.

I know that there are others who believe that you don't trust until another proves that they can be trusted.
I hope this latter method belongs with clubs other than the RFC.

Phantom - not having a dig at you or anything mate, just seems like I debate your posts, but in the above the biggest thing missing is "Respect" and "Honesty".

I don't think Terry or Greg have been "honest" with themselves firstly and secondly with the supporters. Their own ego's and job/media image, preservation and motivations aside, they completely underestimated the list when they took over - SIMPLE. They proceeded from the outset with a dilusional assessment of where the club was at, evidenced by decisions that since have been proven to be wrong and only this year, (some 2+ years into the journey) the reality is being outwardly communicated/admitted to the fans so I hope internally it was realised LONG before now, somehow I doubt it.

Campbell Brown was looked at by Richmond but was rejected according to Miller because he was too small (SEN last week), I have not seen any evidence to see who they recruited who was any "bigger" at the time to support this rationale - happy to be proven wrong. Maybe they didn't want his father at the club was more the truth?, god help us if we let players slip because of who their old man is, particulary concerning "IF" the son has the goods.

The credability of the "reasoning given" for past decisions is really quite comical, when you lay it all down you see so many contradictions, to me this reads like "on the run" list mangement. So when these guys say they have a path or a plan, when do we see it? Is it just me because I have no idea what the Terry plan is?

I don't respect the guys in their roles based on the rubbish they serve up on the ground and the shadow dancing they speak in the media - sorry mate. I don't think they have been honest and until the club sorts out its direction and puts it on the table or starts getting some "sustained" results why should we trust them based on the track record to date?

On the above, 1, 3 and 4 are not tangibles I see in the current climate at RFC.

Fair comment.

BTW, I believe Honesty & Respect are covered off by those 5 points.

Wouldnt think that either Miller or Wallace would score too well with honesty or respect.
The spin doctoring and the overall peformance of the footy dept wouldnt be a pass mark , would it ?

Just been listening to SEN tonight.

Walls and Carey both predict Carlton at best won't play finals for 3 years, but agree probably 4 or 5, funnily enough they regard Richmond the same - isn't it funny that Carlton have had drafts picks taken away (so they start further back) and have the worse list (according to experts) in the AFL which is no suprise, yet there is very little media speculation on Wallace's coaching ability yet Pagan is copping it.......and they have won more games than us?

I agree with this, as do alot of supporters out there, not talking about posters on here but our mass supporter base.

I heard Kennet on SEN this arvo and I must admit I was proud of him and how he and the team at hawthorn have developed their club. They have got a great ON field future, and we all know about their list also.

Yeh, I heard him too.
Spoke very well.

Disagree with him on "Free Agency" not benefitting lower clubs.

I thought "Free Agency" were for experienced players.

If a lower club, developing youngens, has room in their "cap" for a external on-field leader, then go for it.

Is this a joke?

No.
It's actually developed away from the original heading into an interesting thread.

Read from the end back, rather than from the start.

Wallace has to go, contract or no contract

No, he will not be prematurely pushed off the cliff. We'll let him commit suicide instead.

Let him fulfill the 5 years, in that last year we'll know whether he is gone.

25 years of sacking coaches has got us no where.

Who do you suggest, Daniher, Connelly, or Pagan, sure he will be available this week.
I agree Terry's job is as safe as houses this season.
How will you feel if we have won one game next year?

The heat should be put on Walla$e next year if we have another bad season similar to this one and theres no improvement. He should be shown the door.

the heat should be on him NOW....not next year or the year after.....

NO SOUP FOR YOU TW.......
