Went off to the football expecting a real shellacking, walked away in the knowledge that a 23 point loss to the Eagles was not a bad effort and very pleased with the kids (including McGuane!!!!)
Went off to the London Tavern for a few beers before heading home and what happens? *smile* hassled by West Coast Supporters, and one who was drinking Sauv Blanc to boot. One *smile* even draped a West Coast scarf around my neck, he was lucky I didn't fling it into the open fire. To say I was absolutely pissed off is an understatement. What obnoxious pricks.
If there is one thing I can't stand it is opposition supporters heaping *smile* on me, I don't heap *smile* on other supporters when we win and I expect the same respect. This one particular guy obviously thought he was clever and witty but honestly he just came across as an absolute wanker. His girlfriend was obviously embarrassed and so she should have been.
I need to move on I know, but right at this very moment I am fuming.
