Well they were very very very ordinary tonight. I don't believe they have the squad to challenge this year. Add to the fact that Muscat is rubbish in his position at the club.

Yeah, he's only got one championship, one premiership and one FFA cup from three seasons. Terrible record.

Seriously, despite the game being even we should have been 3:0 up at the half. Missed pen, and missed one on one by Rojas. Sydney FC bossed the second half, but terrible decision to allow Carney's first goal after he caught the ball then dropped it on his foot. Viktree have some work to do but are not far off it.

At the risk of sounding like a broken record, we can't afford to have either Mahazi or Bozanic on the park, but no real alternatives atm.

We are slowly improving with some good combinations but as Archie said, not retaining the ball enough, and I reckon that's because we're weak in midfield.

The front four looked dangerous when the ball got to them cleanly, add Beister in to the mix and we'll get better.

Don't understand why Donachie isn't starting, allowing Barro to play CDM ? I love Muscy but he's got a bit of that Bernie stubborness about him with selections.

Don't mind Barro, he's getting stronger. Who else we got? Donachie? Agree you can't play both Mahazi and Bozanic at the same time. Boza is a good role player. Mahazi's great at breaking up play but the quality of passing isn't there.

No just quoting them and asking for an answer to my questions.

No, I love it. It's always funny when trolls have to respond to themselves because no-one has taken the bait.

I'm no troll. Just asking a simple question.

1. Middling. Two wins, two losses, one draw.
2. No. Not at this stage.
3. You'll have to explain this question. Mourinho and Muscat look and act nothing alike to me. You probably have something specific in mind.

Just a perception. Both flamboyant types.

Feeling pretty salty today. Admittedly they were probably the better team over the course of the game, but we had 4-5 clear cut chances which - less face it - all should have been goals.

As for the Carney goal, while we can't use it as an excuse as we fluffed our chances, we can't ignore the fact that this is the 4th time in 2 years Sydney have been awarded goals against us that should never have stood. When will it end?

Also wanna have a b!tch about brosque who dead set should have received 4 yellow cards. How he stayed on the pitch is beyond me.

Agree. We are playing much better and will only get better when we get our full squad together, but I sometimes find some of Kev's decisions strange. Why did we let our backup LB go to CCM? Nigro is a promising kid, but is not a LB. While Austin bossed it in the first half, he was taken out of the game in the second half. So why did he bring on Donachie instead of FBK? Yes i also want to see Baro trialled at DM, but 80 mins in and chasing the game is the wrong time to do it.

I also thought Mahazi was pretty good for the first 60 mins tbh, before the mistakes started. No yellow card either which must be a first :hihi

Good to see FBK regain some form, but 3-0 was ridiculous given how bad we are at holding the ball. Need to improve a lot if we are going to challenge this year.

Agree - switching Austin and FBK on the wings was a master-stroke as they both were having shockers in the first half. FBK was close to unplayable in the second. Shocking decision to rule out the second goal for offside. Good shot-blocking and better finishing basically kept us in that game. Much better second half though - Troisi actually did a few good things. Too early to tell on Maxi yet, looked off-the-pace despite his tap-in goal. But you'd expect that after not having played for a month.

Have to say I saw things differently. Thought Kev wiped Poppa off the floor tactically. Broxy and Geria played very narrow and we let them have as much ball as they wanted on the flanks. He obviously doesn't rate their passing ability in the front third and he was proved right. We tore em to pieces on the counter and perhaps could have scored more.

Thought we defended well, but still have our issues in the centre of the park. Get that right and we'll be in the thick of things at the business end.

FBK was excellent and it's great to see some competition for spots. But Broxy was MOTM for mine.

Second half was probably our best performance so far. Played really well defensively and didn't give them much space. Geria back in form too which was great to see. Was sitting on the docklands side exactly in line with the offside call. Marginal but should have been allowed.
