Caught up with Bobby and boy is this fella ecstatic with the Heart. He's a very busy fella these days and is in charge of the team's after match functions, he even sends a wink and smile to Ian4.

60/40 fan split in victorys favour I reckon.
IMO only one team turned up to play and attack the ball.
MV was horrible and that's being kind. No pace. No system. Conceded the space out wide too easily.
If we'd stolen a point it would have been the biggest heist since Ronnie Biggs and his crew.

Nice win by Viktree but honestly Sydney have nothing. If Brosque is off form they can't score.
Hernandez was immense. Both in play and stomach size. How Sydney could let him score from a header beggars belief. Melbourne still could be up there if we get our act together....

yeah nothing to get excited about, but we'll gladly take the 3 points. sydney are just crap this year. saturday was the 5 year annnivesary of the 5-0 win against them in season 1 and we should have put 5 or 6 against them. we have brisbane and adelaide the next 2 weeks... this will give us a better idea of how we're travelling. good to see carlos get the monkey off the back though.
as for kellway, he reminds me of matty white... lightening quick but has brain explosions.
did you see matt thompsons goal for heart? as i much as i hate heart i actually have a bit of an admiration for thompson. he always killed us when he played for newcastle. that goal was pure class.

unfortunately for north queensland their future isn't yet confirmed beyond this season so they can't sign any of their current squad beyond this season. i believe david williams is the only player signed for next season... so basically with the poaching season now open, their players are ripe for the picking.
victory will also be undergoing big changes next year with more than half their squad out of contract. expect a couple of older players to retire (ie muscat and pondles), mediocre players let go (ie. angulo and berger) and perhaps a couple of our young guns to try their luck in europe (ie. kruse and dugandzic).
