agree with that. brisbane have really raised the bar this year. full credit to ange for that. if victory don't win it (and we're not looking anywhere near it right now), then i hope the roar do.

so you won't be barracking for the heart in the final?

Danny Allsop given the coke and Sars' from DC United.

Will be in a Victroy top by the end of next week.

won't happen, but if it did... no *smile* way.

yeah there is a chance this will happen, but not until the january transfer window. we could actually sign him on a 10 game guest stint and not have to include him in the cap. so if we sign him in january he would be available for the finals too.

I take it he hasn't done much in the States?

5 goals in about 20 games in the worst performing team in the mls. they have mutually agreed to part ways

Long way to go before we start talking finals. That's the aim and I reckon it will be a great achievement to get there. I think we have the talent to make a mark, said that all along. So far we are doing that.

Spoke to Matt McKay after the game and he commentated how well we pass and move the ball. Reckons we are in the top two to three sides of the comp. Massive praise from him. Good to see some recognition.

We are in the six at the moment, it's now in our hands to achieve our objectives. A win against Adelaide will do nicely indeed. :)

Been offered a seat in a corporate box this week for Heart v Adelaide. First time at A-League and first time at AAMI park.

T-bob tells me it will be a winner. Let's hope it is not too boring!

Wsn't offered a freebie for that one! I checked the ladder and heart are higher up! You may want to consider changing Ian.

Depends mate.

If he wants to watch kids jumping and making noise in the crowd, yep he should attend your game.

If he appreciates good passing, flowing football, well he will come Friday night. ;)

Jimbob, you should have a good time mate. The stadium is a beauty and if you do find the game underwhelming just drink yourself into a good night. :) Join the journey that is the Heart. It is exciting watching this grow from nothing to something very good.

The heart are a very entertaining and exciting team to watch jimbo. If it were the Victory with their predictable long ball game then chances are you will be bored. JVS is one of the best things to happen to the A league.

id agree and i called it after our round 1 defeat to central coast. a big soccer personality came out and said recently that the a league needs to get good coaches like the J League did to improve the quality of football.

All righty then, I'm on board! Do Heart have a PRE equivalent?

lol at all the heart pump ups. come back to me when you've won as many trophies as victory with our so called boring game style.

Agree

Navy also likes the cut of Hearts jib.

An A league team that is decent to watch. Who'd have ever thought.

when have i admitted that? it's brisbane who have truly raised the bar this year and they are the ones making for entertaining football. all this verbal diarrhoea about heart playing this beautiful football is more chest pumping than anything else. some of the things heart are trying to do on and off the field is good (some not so good) compared to teams like gold coast and sydney, but they haven't been anywhere near as entertaining this year as victory have been in seasons 2-5. even this year we have shown glimpses... our game against brisbane in brisbane recently wasn't any less entertaining than the heart v brisbane game on the weekend. it was our former keeper who cost us points in that game.

the main issue i have with heart is that scott munn came out and said that they are not trying to get victory supporters to convert to heart. but look at the numbers... our crowds are down about 5-6k this year and hearts are averaging about that much if you don't count the derby. if you ask me, these people are nothing more than judas turncoats. why would you want them as supporters? you know i work with a guy who followed victory. do you know why he changed to heart? because he follows man u in the EPL, and changed to heart because they wear red. lol, just lol.
