Here is an opportunity for the RFC!
"... [Japan Samurai's] Team captain Tsuyoshi Kase is Beard's prime example. While he didn't see much of the ball at centre half back this morning, he's been touted as a genuine AFL scholarship prospect, something all of his team-mates dream about.
TROY BEARD [coach]: If there's any AFL teams or scouts out there that are serious about looking at talent further than our shores, if they're not looking at him then they're silly, because he is an outright champion. ..."

Is there any real chance this kid might be OK? I believe overseas recruits (such as US or Irish) dont need to be salary capped or 'listed' and we can also get 'preferences' when it comes to drafting/listing.
(Anyone can help on that?)
Is it possible the RFC could look at this, and get our organisation into Japan, and the potential marketing dollars as well? Anyone keeping an eye on the series?
From my J-experience, the media is mad for thier players doing well o-seas... baseball, soccer etc..
