Is it Richo's fault that the ball doesn't actually get into the forward line often enough?

A voice of reason at last.

When one of these kids makes 20 hard leads up the ground, gets bent over with exhaustion from running, screams and demands the ball, and tells Richo to pull his head in when goes off; then we are getting close to having someone deserving of Richo's spot. Jack is the only one who remotely looks close to this attitude. Hughes sometimes looks positive. Schulz for the most part skulks around the forward line like a dog thats just grabbed the chops off the barbie.

Is it bugging you yet that your theory isn't working Billy?

Why aren't you having a crack at Hughes and Riewoldt for their low possessions on the weekend in fact the past two weekends?
Oh that's right it's all Schulz's fault. ::)

Thought I was having a crack, clearly stated that the kids didn't deserve Richo's spot and gave the reasons why. By the way two weekends is better than five years oldie.

play schulz cleve and jack up front

We can only hope.

Interesting that Cleve and JR barely had a kick between them up front on the weekend.
I wonder how long before the knives come out in the same way they have for Schulz..

Mark my words... Jack will be dropped this week... Wallace will put it down to not playing blokes who havent earned there spots... And jack has had two average games in a row...

Give 'em time Billy, seems Richo will be around for a few years yet. ;)

By the way contrary to your suggestion on another thread, Hughes still has a better goals per game average than Sarge.

Do you think I just make stuff up or something?

Yes, that ignores Sarges first two seasons which is all Cleve has had. Try this one.

We can split hairs forever.

I have always been adamant that this isn't a Hughes vs Schulz thing even though you continually try to turn it into one.

I am interested in the bigger picture.

No you have a love affair with Sarge and constantly blame Richo for his non-performance. I think thats crap and would say that none of Sarge, Hughes or Jack have done anything that warrants having Richo moved out of the forward line. I go further and offend your sensiblties by saying that Jack and Hughes show just as much as Sarge ofter 2 and 1 seasons respectively. That is irrefutably true but it is also irrefutable that none of them average better than 1 goal per game which for any key forward is a joke but for a 5 season player is a tired joke.

You are entitled to your opinion on here as I am mine.
I am not offended by your suggestions.

They all have plenty to prove before they are mentioned in the same breath as Richo and that's fair enough.
I am simply looking for solutions to improve our situation.

I love Richo.

The guy is all Richmond.

My two cents

Play Richo(actually) give him the freedom to ruck rove type(let him loose).

Time to let the kids free to play as key forwards

The Cleve's
Captain S
Jack

This is the future.

Richo has had to do it all and i feel Jay has suffered cause of this and i dont want Cleve(it appears it is happening to him too) and Jack to develop this curse.

Start it this week

Next year capt Richo(the heart and soul of Tigerland)

Let the future begin

WE HAVE NOTHING TO LOSE FOR GOODNESS SAKES

WE ARE BLOODY LAST BY A LONG SHOT

LETS THROW SOME UNPREDICTABILITY

LET THE KIDS LOOSE

It's time for Wallace to be unpredictable. First bounce have all the indians in their usual tents and as soon as the game starts unleash the cavalry. Mega changes. Richo on the ball. Lids Full forward. Bowden on a wing. Johnson on a tram to Coburg. Polak on .... anybody. Newman on the ball. Simmonds CHF. Patto in the ruck after mid week lessons from Stafford on the use of knees and elbows in football . Browny takes control of the forwards and tells them where to position themselves. Tuck stands next to Foleys tagger and decks him everytime he restricts Nathan. Connors on the skinny blond kid and feel free to give him a touch up Daniel. Kingy on Didak and wear him like a glove.

I wish!

What will happen is Rich FF, Polak & Bowden loose men if defence. Raines on Cloke. Thursty on Rocca. In other words, situation normal.

We've played a loose man in defense all year. Why not have Polak man up and play Richo as the loose man. He'll mark almost anything that comes his way, and what he doesn't hold, will interfere with their forwards. It would give everyone a fair idea if Polak can play well with an opponent.
