I was always uncomfortable when we were bandied around as aggresively seeking Rob Warnock.
Seemed that once again we were going to give away valuable priority/early picks - and pay 100's of thousands for a relatively unproven (well hyped) player.
Wish him the best - and he may prove a very valuable pick for the Blues - but if this mornings Hun is correct - he's now out for 2 months with a foot injury - this on the back of shoulder surgery in August and an ankle operation in November.
We ended up with some excellent draft picks - and a Brownlow Medalist on $120,000 per year!!!
At this stage I'm thinking we got the better end of the deal :clap
