A few players who've been traded have had some baggage at their previous club. Tarrant, Spider, Akker, Polak are some who come to mind.
For whatever reason they've attracted their fair share of controversy in the past but we don't know how much is fact and how much is speculation. We don't know why they weren't getting a game and if there were any personality conflicts etc.
Surely all of these blokes should be embraced by their new club supporters and discussed more for their future than be ostracised because of their past.
There are quite a few posters on PRE who have not only changed usernames but most have also changed their former abuse and attitude. I think footy players changing clubs would possibly be similar by embracing a second chance.
The above players aren't the only ones with skeletons in their closets; they're just the ones who've copped the public scrutiny for whatever reason.
If any of us stuff up we'd still like to be supported and given a chance to redeem ourselves. I reckon footy players deserve the same chance. :hearton
