We have won less often with Richo in the side.

In another thread I posted figures for Ray Hall - 55% with, 43% without. Unless you're also using the pseudonym Rayzorwire I doubt that you'll argue that Ray is responsible for the difference by himself. Comes back to what I said previously which is that our coaches should be condemned for not using such a gifted player effectively. TW said the other week he'd love to have coached Richo 10 years ago, and I'm sure we'd have a better record (and Richo too) if he had.

unfortunately we cant go back in time, richo may have become one of the greatest CHB in history?

well i would certainly entertain trading him if the price was right?

a pick from 1 - 3 plus a low second round and i would be be interested

the only player i wouldnt trade over 23 is J.Bowden - the rest would be on the table for picks only

There is such a thing as an offer you can't refuse.

yes and they would find out that on his day he is unstoppable, but when he is off he is way off - and when you rely on a player like we have over the last 10 years your form revolves around his form - inconsistent and unreliable

because he roams so far and wide and has great athletisism he has effectively halted the development and recruitment of similar KPP - which in the long run has hurt us

he bleeds yellow & black and is loved by all but he should have been traded years ago, too late now

as far as the better sides around him go....... he still drops chest marks and misses goals from in front - better players around him dont/wont change that

yes he still kicks the freakish goals that should not be kicked, but he should not be leading there in the first place

his ability to run is his downfall IMO, he is a better player when we kick it long to him and he stands his ground and brings others into the contest

Excellent summation, it has been a grave mistake to have based our forward line upon a player with so many transparent and apparently uncorrectable flaws. As a second or third tall he would have presented far greater value (assuming the midfield could have summoned the courage to ignore his demands for the ball when out of position) than the role he assumed over the last decade. It's amazing how people have overlooked his limitations simply on the basis of loyalty (this club along with all the others is littered with players who 'bleed' it's colours only to find a new home when in the best interest of that club).

No other player has been cut the same slack, people will concede a point or two here and there but then say 'it's just Richo' and apparently expect that ends the discussion. I'm not attacking him as an individual, it's not his fault, but he should have been either been traded years ago, or assigned a different role with him no longer as the focal point, and more in keeping with the aerobic capacity and the athleticism that he had. Thinking that he could be our Carey, or our Brown, or our Tredea has been one of our greatest mistakes.

is that 44% wins with & 48% wins without?

The ferals, who thrive on mediocrity, would love those stats.
Give them 1-2 Richo days out a season and they would be happy with that
and finish down the bottom!!!
Those figures prove he is only Richmond champion and a good ordinary AFL player!!!

whats the win loss ratio with richo?

With Richo 44.0%, without 48.6%. Touché.

That's hardly a flattering statistic. :-\

Crap to all. These percentages means jack. If start quoting numbers have some substance behind them. Why aren't the opposition teams ranked per year? wins without Richo against low finishing team, big deal. Its the wins against higher ranked teams that's important.
