So begins the career of Luke McGuane.
A Queensland lad, blonde and tanned
To be a Richmond star is now his plan.
A Cousin to Collingwood’s Mick McGuane
You can’t pick your family, so don’t worry son.
Not a good start to his career
Broke his arm, the worst we feared
But back Luke came, just like new
Round 7, 06 playing Sydney he made his debut.
Terry thought not much chop
Sorry son, back to Coburg you drop.
2007 is a different year
First five rounds and he is still here
So from his prez, a rousing cheer. :clap
