Caroline Wilsons article.....Tigers consider four changes for clash with Geelong
http://www.realfooty.com.au/news/rfnews/tigers-consider-four-changes-for-clash-with-geelong/2009/03/30/1238261514075.html

If u take out raines and cuz and an 18 yr old 1st gamer in Browne, seems everyone has escaped the blood letting that i thought could happen, well i thought at least 6 changes....Ok even though Caro says 4 it could well be 5 or 6 come thurs night....any thoughts?

Edwards, Bowden. McMuffin are my top 3 along with the injured pair of Cuz and Raines, i thought Ranga browne too to be added with those 3 mentioned but decided to give him a break perhaps first game nerves wouldnt mind seeing him get another go but caros article seems to think he'll be dropped....thats the easy thing to do to make up the 4 outs IMHO

Too right AT.

There should be carnage at the selection table this week.

Bowden, McMahon, Edwards, Browne, Schulz, Tambling, all need to go back to Coburg.

In Fact so too should Wallace, Royle, King, Campbell and Rawlings.......FOREVER!

about right with those TJ, only blingers would survive only cause i thought he put his body on the line more than previous times and hurt a few blues players in the process...must admit i was rapt to see it and quiet suprised....But its time to give bling a true position cause pick 4 cant be getting only 15 possies a game....

On Jade Rawlings he and the players were directly behind me in the AFL reserve went out with a mate who wanted to smoke as i walked past the old coaches box, JON, thompson and a few others had really glum looking faces they looked straight at me and my face told them how i was feeling pretty sh!t with the way we were playing and they too looked really sad faced BUT not jadey rawlings he was talking with smiles all round that p!ssed me right off...i was hoping that he just turn his head so i could give an almighty stare and a nod of the head in disapprovement....anyway just thought id share that moment....

I personally think Browne should stay in the team. Patto isn't match fit, and Browne was preferred to Gus for Rnd 1. What has changed in the space of a week?

Be a ppsst weak one!

Easily McMahon should have the riot act written now, not later. Don;t agree on Bowden - he'll just get better. Raines and Cuz out. Edwards was ordinary again (Shocker against Bris as well) - as much as I think he'll come good, maybe it's a good message now rather than later as well. While Brown, Lids and Simmo also had shockers, one game doesn;t deserve harsh treatment. Is Thursfield fit, well?

I think Caro will be on the money this time.

Good to hear Hislop and Polo had goodish games. Both are required if compared to McMahon and Edwards. Please keep big Browney in Wallace - he's two season behind Graham in experience, but light years ahead where it counts most. Rance is a good in for Raines, and Bowden can mop this week up where McMahon left off.

Hislop for Edwards and Polo for Cuz.

Never happy to get Rawlings, even less so now thanks AT :P McCrae would give better advice and guidance anyway.

Four changes, two of them forced is akin to a flogging with a feather. Has to be 6 or 7 changes.

This really makes me angry about this forum....Richie is the whipping boy for anyting and everything....I acually thought he had a fair dinkum go the other nite, in fact probably the only one who did along with Cuz.

How many times must it be said....he has improved each year at the club and will be a 200 game player for us ( I can already see Claw's reply.."That i why we will never succeed with 200 game players like that on the list."

Agreed, although Ricky didnt have 20 something posessions, he DID really put his body on the line on many occassions, and I too was surprised at how many one percenters he put in and his physical presence which has been something he has lacked. Not a bad game Ricky... keep improving mate.
