A priority pick in 2008 should be the priority?

Should we win 7 games or less to obtain the priority pick in 2008?

Hypothetically, we finish the 2007 season with the 1.5 wins under our belt.

How many are in favour that the RFC should not win more than 7 games in 2008 so we end up getting a priority pick?

Should we look at doing a Carlton?

Would Wallace want more than 7 games to keep the income coming in?

Do we take just take it as it comes and maybe end up winning 10 games and finish 9th?

Any suggestions or ideas?

I'm sure it doesn't work that way.

we would still need to win under 4.5 to get the priority.

Regardless answer is NO *smile* way.

This has been the worst year as it is - please not another.

I dont think we will win more than 7 games next year anyway. As much as everyone blames TW, i dont think he has heaps to work with. I just dont rate our list & think we easily still have a couple of years to go.

Could be more of the same next year IMO.

I was told the half game is not counted in the equation.

For your second post my friend, it sounds very honest and a slight touch on the darksidish, but true.

May the force be with you in your PRE journey's.

I think the priority pick will be gone by next year anyway- but no, I do not think we will qualify anyway

We can't win more than 4.5 games next year. It's not an average over 2 years. So we'd have to win less than 5.

Personally, I'm all for tanking this year, because we're here, we might as well. Next year, I expect us to aim for the finals, but if we end up in round 7 with 1 win, I'd be emptying about the m1-abrams, and going for tank 2.0

Not sure if it's accurate but the information at the following site sounds about right.

I'll happily take the extra pick next year but that would be it. Climbing the ladder with a side full of kids would be the go in 2009 >:D

This isn't personal.

However that sentiment is absolutely disgusting. I can understand it from about round 8 or nine this year, but to say it before a year is disgusting.

Hence my losing it in regards to TW. Might as well fold and not play IMO. the worst thing.

Yeah I agree with you that it is disgusting but I can't help it. It's not like I want us to be crap but the extra pick would be of huge benefit to our future. We need a few top liners and while there are some exceptions this is the main way to get them. Our side lacks sheer brilliance and whilst I want us to play finals and be successful I want it to be sustainable. Maybe I should just say that I wouldn't be gutted if we received a priority pick next year rather than say I'm hoping for one. But yeah it's not so great to admit it I suppose :-[

Are we Carlton?
Are we the Saints?
Are we the Hawks?
Are we the Dogs?

If you answered "yes", then tank all you want

If you didn't and actually barrack for the TIGERS, well.....WE WANT THE GOD DAMN *$%&^% WINS!!!! :spin

I always want us to be going for the win.

A few places higher or lower in the draft order isn't going to make much difference, but a mentality where people are happy with losing certainly will.

If we have a year like this one next year Wallace will be gone don't think that will be in the plans think we need to play our strongest side from NAB cup game one & get the confidence going!!

It is because they dont count the games they count the points. A draw = 2 points.
